COLUMBIA (WISTV) — A Columbia-based company is making national headlines for using artificial intelligence to help kids learn.
Van Robotics, headquartered in South Carolina, developed a small robot named Abii. It’s designed to support students in kindergarten through fifth grade with reading and math — and it’s already making a big impact.
“We develop AI-enabled smart robot tutors to support K through five students with their math and reading comprehension,” said Dr. Laura Boccanfuso, CEO of Van Robotics.
